What were her quilts like?
Harriet Tubman would make quilts, and put them in houses, or sometimes she would even just draw out the patch on the ground, in the dirt. Above is a decoder for her quilts. It is pretty illegible, so you can hit the purple button titled; "Quilt Decoder," just above, and it will take you to a YouTube video, that tells you what every patch means or meant back then.
